Reels, videos, Stories — what can be transcribed?
Any public Instagram content with an audio track can become a transcript: Reels, in-feed videos and video posts work directly from a link. Stories and Lives are trickier — they expire or sit behind your login — so for those, save the clip to your device and use the upload tab. The transcription quality is identical either way.
Photo carousels and silent videos have nothing to transcribe, so you’ll get an empty result — the tool tells you when no speech is detected.
